Built from resilience. Driven by a passion for finding good people.
J. Renee Lindley is the founder and only recruiter at Lindley Hiring Solutions. This is how a home-based business started with less than $75 came to serve 51 companies.
Built twice. From less than $75 the first time.
Renee never planned to start a business. She planned to get back to work. The business is what happened when the work kept coming.
“Your One Stop Hiring Solution”
Stroke and recovery
A right-brain hemorrhagic stroke affected Renee’s ability to walk. Eight weeks in a hospital neurological unit followed, and disability benefits came through immediately. She spent the following year volunteering.
58 hires in one month
Her son managed 16 retail stores and needed people. Renee, with years of agency and corporate recruiting experience behind her, took it on and placed 58 store associates in a single month. She has described the feeling in one word: energized.
Lindley Hiring Solutions opens
She called Disability to ask if she could work for herself. She could, within an earnings limit. She got a tax ID, signed a handful of clients, and opened the business with less than $75.
51 clients
Manufacturers, paving contractors, law firms, a utility, and franchise groups across seven states. Eleven ran multiple locations, and Renee recruited for every one of them.
The pandemic pause
When COVID shut down hiring nationwide, the work went quiet and Renee put the business on hold. The client relationships stayed.
The restart
Through Vocational Rehabilitation, Renee was approved for a grant to rebuild. Before the new website was finished, a former client had already sent her several new positions to fill.
Big-agency discipline. One-person accountability.
Renee kept what works from staffing agencies and corporate HR, and dropped the overhead. Her name is on every placement.
She does the searching herself
Every day on LinkedIn and Indeed, looking for the people who aren’t applying but should be. Then she makes the call.
Skilled, professional candidates only
Every résumé Renee sends is one she has read and vetted herself. Employers get a short list, not a stack.
One point of contact
No account managers, no hand-offs. The person who took the job order is the person who fills it.
Every location covered
Eleven of her clients run multiple sites, some across seven states. She has staffed all of them from High Point.
Home-based. Hands-on. One recruiter from start to finish.
Lindley Hiring Solutions runs from Renee's home in High Point. That keeps her costs low, her rates fair, and her attention on the search instead of the office.
It also means when you call (336) 303-8035 between 9 and 4, the person who answers is the person doing the work.
